A highlight of the GAS-828 NG effect pedal is the 909-switch. With this switch the second 808 module is switched into a 909 module that delivers thrice gain. Like the other dual pedals made by Rodenberg Amplification, the GAS-828 NG can be used in the Bolt- or the Serial-Mode. In the Bolt-mode only one module is active. The last used module is turned off automatically, when you switch the pedals. The advantage: you don't have to turn the last used module off while you play. Just step on the footswitch and play exactly the module you want. In the Serial-mode both modules pedals run consecutive together (serial). The new Go!-Mode activates a momentary-mode for the GAS-808 (red). The pedal stays active as long as you push the footswitch - perfect for solo play and short fill-ins.
The signal always runs first through the GAS-808 (blue) and then through the GAS-808 (red) module. The switching is true bypass.
