Das Pedal erzeugt mit dem Signal einer Gitarre die Sounds eines analogen Vintage Synthesizers. Drei Octaven Rechteck-Wellen gleichzeitig gepaart mit einem Resonaz-Filter machen dies möglich.
Die Filter-Schaltung des Effektpedals wird über den Depth-Regler und die Anschlagshärte gesteuert. Wenn die Noten langsam ausklingen werden die Sweeps des Filters langsam tiefer. Der Ocatsynth ist 100% analog aufgebaut und arbeitet monophon. Die Regelmöglichkeiten des Octasynth wurden auf schnelle Ergebnisse ausgelegt und benötigen keine langwierige Programmierung oder endlose Einstellungen.
