Im klassischen Van Halen-Gitarrendesign kommt der MXR EVH Phase 90 daher. Eddie hat damit seinen legendären Leadsound - vor allem auf den frühen Platten - "gewürzt", besonders gut zu hören bei seinem Paradesolo "Eruption". Es gibt nach wie vor nur einen Regler, mit dem die Geschwindigkeit des Phasings eingestellt werden kann, alles andere ist so vorgegeben, dass ein wirklich angenehmer, niemals zu aufdringlich klingender Effekt erzielt werden kann. Besonderheit: Mit dem Script-Schalter kann man zwischen dem vintage "Script Logo"- und dem moderneren, aggressiveren "Block Logo" Phasersound zu wählen.

The MXR EVH Phase 90 Shifter is a limited-edition version of the legendary MXR Phase 90. The Phase 90 was instrumental in creating the guitar tones on the early Van Halen records; the swirling, spacey sound on such songs as "Eruption," "Atomic Punk," and "Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love."
