Ibanez AW65ECE: solid top for a solid sound
The body of the Ibanez AW65ECE is made of mahogany with a solid top made of cedar wood, which gives the guitar a very warm and dark sound with sweet trebles. The mahogany neck with 20-fret fretboard made of rosewood has a Low Gloss finish for optimal playing comfort and has been glued to the body, traditionally, with a solid dovetail connection. A modern-shaped rosewood bridge and an elegant, wooden rosette around the sound hole really make this Ibanez guitar a true eye-catcher.
Electronics by Fishman and Ibanez
A Fishman Sonicore piezo pickup at the bridge allows you to play the AW65ECE amplified. This pickup is accompanied by an Ibanez AEQ210TF preamp at the side of the body. This gives you access to a 2-band equalizer, volume control and a phase knob with which you can reduce any potential feedback. Last but not least, it has a user-friendly digital tuner so that you can keep your guitar perfectly tuned, even on the darkest stages.
