Pigtronix Philosopher's Rock delivers all of the compression, sustain and grit of the award-winning Philosopher's Tone in a much more compact and simplified package. Pigtronix's unique all analog, optical circuit gives you transparent compression to tame the spikes in your signal with clean sustain to create natural acoustic feedback that won't stop until you do. The Philosopher's Rock sports a noiseless design that lets you work with a dirty amp or with high gain fuzz and distortion pedals for the perfect barrage of sound, or toggle the Grit switch for harmonic-rich germanium distortion that will put the fire in your fingertips. Volume and Sustain controls give you an impressive sweep of tonal options for simple operation on stage or in the studio. The Philosopher's Rock will work its magic perfectly well with a standard 9 volt power supply, but it comes to you with an 18-volt adapter for clearer performance, and greater overall output. True bypass eliminates all interference when it's not in use.
